    Course Design Studio

    Faculty will meet on four mornings to design or redesign a course based on research-based practices in effective teaching. The studio will provide a collaborative environment for drawing on peer feedback and CETL expertise.

  • 2014 Teaching Assistant Fellows

    TA Fellows design and facilitate workshops for Fall 2014/Spring 2015 TA Orientations. The expected time commitment is about 40 hours total between May 2014 and January 2015.  A stipend will be awarded in the amount of $750.  Apply by March 31, 2014, 5pm.

  • Faculty Survey of Student Engagement (FSSE)

    Starting on Wednesday, April 2, 2014, the FSSE will be administered to a sample of faculty who taught undergraduate students this academic year.

  • National Survey of Student Engagement

    Georgia Tech first-year students and graduating seniors are invited to participate in the NSSE survey, beginning Tuesday, February 18, 2014.

  • Student Ratings of Instruction: Myths & Realities

    Nira Hativa, Professor Emeritus at Tel-Aviv University (TAU) and former director of their Center for the Advancement of Teaching, recently highlighted the extensive research about student ratings of instruction as well as her own studies of this topic in her guest lecture at Georgia Tech.
