Access to Course/Instructor Opinion Survey (CIOS)
Important Dates
CIOS dates for Fall 2007:
The system will be open for students to complete their surveys for FALL SEMESTER courses from 12 am Monday, Nov. 26 to midnight Sunday, Dec. 16.
Each term the course/instructor opinion survey is open during the last two weeks of class and through finals week (it opens at 12am on the Monday at the start of the next to last week of classes and closes at midnight of the Sunday following final exam week).
Faculty can get their results on-line five days after the grades are submitted.
Administrators can get their results on-line one week after the start of the next semester.

To access reports, use your GT account and password at http://www.coursesurvey.gatech.edu/login.cfm. After the instructor login page, choose the "Reports Menu" button from the main menu, and then follow these steps:
- Choose "Single Course/Instructor Survey Report". For cross-listed courses, choose "Cross-Listed Courses Report."
- Fill in the blanks. Choose a term and a group (based on the part of the term under which your courses fall) from the pull-down menu, and fill in the department/course number/section of the appropriate course. Then press the "Run Report" button.
- Once the report is generated, it can easily be printed in the "landscape" orientation. (The "Page Information" link at the report page has detailed printing directions.) It can also be saved as an "html" file on your computer. The file can then be opened from your word processor or browser.
Faculty can get their results on-line five days after the grades are submitted.
Reports are not available for Chairs and Deans until after the first week of the Spring '08 semester. Notification for those reports will go out Spring semester.
