Please Note: The applicant ideally should be teaching during her or his first semester of involvement in the program and available/released from obligations on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:05-1:25 p.m. We will meet one day each week.

1. . Why do you want to be a Teaching Fellow? (What do you hope to gain from participating in this program? How might you contribute to it?)

2. . What is your personal philosophy of teaching? (For example, what goals do you have for your students? How do you achieve these goals? Why do you choose the teaching strategies/methods that you use? )

3. How might you improve student learning in one of your courses? Describe an area that you might want to target for improvement through your project.

4.Who would you like to be your mentor while you are a Teaching Fellow? Why would this person be a good mentor for you?
