This annual event is held each spring and provides an opportunity for instructional staff to reflect on practices and strategies that enhance student learning. The event typically includes a luncheon, a guest speaker, a brief program honoring teaching excellence, and a poster display where the Class of 1969 Teaching Fellows, the Class of 1969 Teaching Scholars, the Hesburgh Award Teaching Fellows, the Brittain Fellows, and other campus constituents highlight the innovative projects and initiatives they have undertaken during the year.
Celebrating Teaching Day 2013 featured Derek Bruff, Director of the Vanderbilt University Center for Teaching and a senior lecturer in the Vanderbilt Department of Mathematics.
