Georgia Tech Retreat Exploring Effective Teaching (GTREET)
This bi-annual teaching retreat provides a relaxed setting with an opportunity for new Georgia Tech faculty to hear presentations about, to discuss with each other, and to reflect on effective teaching.
NFO: New Faculty Orientation
Each year CETL invites all new faculty to NFO, an orientation to life as a faculty member at Georgia Tech. The event occurs on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of the week prior to the start of classes and connects new faculty with cuurent student, faculty, and administrative leaders on campus. Sessions highligh resources available to support teaching and research efforts, policies pertaining to promotion & tenure, and benefits available through human resources.
