Alessandro Orso

School of Computing Science

Dr. Alessandro Orso is a Professor in the School of Computing Science and has been teaching for over 25 years. A former Hesburgh Award Teaching Fellow, Dr. Orso is a passionate, enthusiastic, and highly engaged instructor who strongly believes in GT’s educational mission and its importance, and who was involved in the creation of the OMS program. He is interested in the challenges and opportunities connected to high enrollment numbers, an increasing emphasis on multi-disciplinary curricula, the demand for new delivery methods, and the academic issues related to the pandemic.
